Anyway a short update:

-Matriculation this week, started on lectures and tutorials. Oh gosh, it’s only the first week and I’m overwhelmed :O But I guess it’s normal. Ugh my Hist teacher is kinda intimidating, so I chionged the very veryyy long reading and filled in a table, but it’s not due for today’s tutorial! So sleep deprived cos of that. But I need to recap the reading and try and annotate…lots to catch up.

-I’m eligible for ELL!!! Hehehe. Was so worried after the selection test cos the grammar section killed me, but so glad to receive the text from school saying I passed. Finally, got my dream subject combination. From at first fretting over failing the test to the complexity of choosing initial subject combi (before being offered ELL) followed by finalizing my subjects, I’m glad everything is settled (I hope!) May have to change class cos I dropped Econs, but I’m not the only one Will know my class by Sun/Mon.

-Glad to be still quite bonded with my OG (7!) Haha they’re an awesome bunch, and I love how we always meet to have dinner etc

-I’m closer with my classmates now! At first I felt they were anti social, and missed my OG terribly. On Mon when OGs split and we were assigned to our classes, I felt so lonely and had recess alone. Then I found out I was sitting at at the table with my classmates (whom I didn’t know) and they left me out, talking among themselves. Haha but it’s much better now, quite close to several girls, and even had a very personal talk with one of them! The guys are okay too, just that we haven’t talked much. Such a pity we might me splitting already, like can’t get to know them better. It’s so cool how we have a class decorating competition, and my classmates have some very fantastic ideas, like doing a mosaic, using polaroids, photo frames and stuff. It’ll be so fun if we can do this together as a class. And my Home Tutor (Still not used to this term yet) is Ms Meera, who teaches Lit. Her personality is like Ms Siva

-Thinking of joining Interact Club as CCCA, it’s sort of like CIP, so it’s meaningful. Feel like I haven’t done anything for the community Haha wanted to be more active by joining Netball, but I guess it’s too rigorous and tough. Awww man why can’t I join swimming?! Heh.

-This afternoon was briefing for students under Potential Development Programme.I wasn’t aware of this in CJ students who scored L1R5 10 and below will automatically be under this Programme. Now I’m clearer about what’s in store for me. There are many opportunities like overseas OBS, Pre U Seminar, ELL and Hist trips etc to build our portfolios. Hope I’ll join at least 1. Oh and the school will monitor our MYE results, and if we don’t do well enough, we have to leave the Programme

That’s about all…

I have this lingering question in my mind – What if even If I have the passion for my subjects, I still don’t perform? Worried for Hist now cos there’s tons and tons of content…And for Lit, I’m not up to standard and everyone around are freaking knowledgeable, makes me feel inferior and unworthy of taking Lit.

Hopefully I’ll settle my thoughts, cos I know there are people I can turn to. I know I’m in safe hands cos I’m part of the CJ family. Okay, wish me luck as I embark on this stressful but amazing journey!

Here’s a post to add a fullstop to my 4 years in Xinmin. :’)

Though everyone says they hate school, they dread waking up early, the heavy workload, CCA and stuff, at the end of the day, you can’t deny not having feelings for your school. I remember not liking Xinmin when I went for its openhouse, cos it was so hot when I stood at the parade square. Haha what a stupid reason. My dad chose this school over Zhonghua (my choice), and perhaps I have to thank him for that

I didn’t do very well in sec 1 cos I was still adapting (I guess), and those foreign subjects like Art and D&T really pulled my grades down. But I was still glad to be doing okay, like average. Then sec 2 was the year I peaked. Haha I sound boastful, but that was the only time I did well…haha! Don’t know why, but I could grasp the lower sec syllabus in that year, and it sort of became a breeze. I can still remember how I would diligently complete my homework ASAP, then vandalise my assessment books. And in sec 2, Mdm A___ (gasps) came to appreciate my English compos and after almost every test, she would ask me to photocopy my compo and pin it on the noticeboard, together with other students’ that scored well. Ha, that’s probably the only fond memory I have of her. To be honest, now that I look back on my years in Xinmin, I realised what she taught during Language Arts was so superficial, and I wrote crap during the sec 2 Lit exams…I shudder each time I read my Lit essays from 2 years ago :/

I still love 203 ’09, cos it was my very first class in Xinmin and where I met awesome friends Plus I think we went through a lot together, at least more than the other classes in our batch, cos of HER. Then came sec 3, which was just overload of CCA and studies :C I was practically caught in a tornado and couldn’t escape. My results went downhill (which is why I miss sec 2 so much) and I was struggling to strike a balance between Guzheng and studies. Since I was in upper sec, I think everytime after CCA, the only thing I wanted to do was just rush home and sleep. In sec 4, the first 4 months were just Guzheng, Guzheng and more Guzheng, to the extent that I became numb. The pressure was mounting, and my mid years results were sacrificed. Haha not that I did well for prelims, but since the sec 4s stepped down after SYF, it just felt soooo good to be able to focus on mugging. I know I wasn’t the only one struggling to cope, but I don’t think everyone had such a difficult time, cos some still did well in their studies…Now that everything is over, I tell myself that it was all these boundaries that made me stronger, and I did enjoy Guzheng, especially he zou

I vividly remember how demoralised I was last year, cos I was still failing every Physics test though I studied, and only just passing each Chem test. Really, Science is just not my thing, and I doubt I’ll ever touch it again But the teachers were incredibly encouraging, and I’m so thankful for them. The last 2 years in Xinmin were critical, and inspired by some teachers, I’m gonna express my heartfelt gratitude to them:

-MS ANNIE YEO
E.Math and A.Math teacher She’s one teacher I can never thank enough. I think most of the girls in 406 will admit she’s a mother figure, ever so caring and concerned for her students. Though she seemed angry with us last year, we all know she still loves us and will always want the best for us. I will never forget how she always switches off the fans in our classroom to force us to pick up the litter on the floor, how she likes to use ‘apples’ to let us understand her explanations better, how she can actually be humorous at times, how she never fails to add quotes at the end of each test, to motivate us, how she always hand writes the answer keys to our tests and exams, how she meticulously marks our assignments, tell us where we went wrong (and sometimes even do some corrections on our homework itself) and so many more…oh my gosh I miss her so much now that I’m typing this. Sorry Ms Yeo, we’ve made you angry and so tired the past year But we definitely appreciate all the things you’ve done for us! During the study break before O’s, when I went back to school for consultations, Ms Yeo saw me outside the staff room, and called me over. She didn’t remember my name, but what touched me was that she knew there were 2 Lit papers followed by an A.Math paper on the same day, and told me not to worry so much, and just concentrate on Lit, cos Math is a subject that needs constant practice, there’s nothing else I can do for it. Awwww :’( Also, on results day, she came over to our class and asked each of us how we did, like L1R5 etc, and she told us “Well done, well done”. She’s one teacher that inspired and gave me the drive to do my best in everything.

-MS DORA LEE
The best English teacher ever. Seriously. At first we were scared of her cos she was so strict and we had to get a note from the teacher of the previous lesson when we were late for her class, and she made those who didn’t complete homework stand outside the classroom. However, as days went by, we came to realise how good her teaching was, and occasionally she would tell us anecdotes of her life. She’s one special teacher who brings out the best in her students, and she said she would gladly claim credit if we thank her for our good English grade, but if we didn’t, it’s fine. Also, I’m always amazed by how she leads such a fulfilling life – she takes up photography lessons, does scrapbooking and goes overseas. I’m so envious of her! Although she always fell sick (hope she’s better now) and didn’t come for lessons, it was what she taught when she came that was vital. Those skills. That’s why she was always confident and not apologetic for always missing lessons; she knew what she had to teach and she had done it, so there was nothing to worry about. Haha I regret not hugging her on results day! Jiaqi did so and it must had been a touching and sweet moment. But nevermind, she congratulated me for my A1 and we shook hands, hehe So thankful to her for teaching me so much more than just English, and I’m motivated to work hard for GP and ELL (if I manage to study it!)

-MS CHERYL LIE
A very dedicated Lit teacher Must admit that we didn’t really have a good impression of her in sec 3, cos we were not used to her very straightforward and cool character. But towards sec 4, we understood all her good intentions. She is also a teacher who teaches beyond Lit. She hopes that we understand the human condition, which is key in understanding whatever text or prose we’re studying. She does her very best in bringing out her students’ potential, and strives to make her weak students improve. Never before has she come up with detailed and step-by-step notes for her previous batches, she did so for us. I can’t bear to chuck away her notes and answer keys cos she put in a great deal of effort and time to churn out these stuff to spoonfeed us :O Sad in a way, cos there will be no more spoonfeeding in JC… And I must really thank her for the advice she gave when I was in a dilemma over CJC and SAJC. Hopefully I’ll not let her down when taking Lit in JC.

-MS MARTIN
In sec 3, my SS really sucked. I couldn’t digest all the info and couldn’t grasp the tricks for SBQs and SEQs. Ms Martin really saved me. Okay it was spoonfeeding again, like those model essays and power packs, but Ms Martin also analysed and went through the trends for O’s and other schools’ prelims. She even went through certain tricky questions step by step with us. Furthermore, her tips were very important to prevent us from making mistakes. She’s one of the few teachers who can joke with our class, haha she always says that the girls do better. But the guys never get angry Such a pity she’s no longer teaching in Xinmin, cos such a fun and good teacher is a treasure. Hehe I even drew Ms Martin on a page of my model essays She’s a great inspiration!

So thank you, Xinmin, for everything. You’re indeed an above average school that offers a unique experience for students. Oh yeah, I don’t understand why everyone’s like complaining about Mrs Ong. You don’t know how much she did for us, so stop judging her and stop the stupid whining about having to sing the national anthem repeatedly. Even I feel ashamed and not angry, cos we do not take pride in singing the national anthem and school song! It’s so soft and I cringe when I hear the moans in the parade square, when Mrs Ong asks us to stand up and do it again. And don’t you find her particularly sincere, greeting and bowing to us, STUDENTS each and every morning? If she’s trying to connect with us, why must we keep pushing her away?? At least she’s better than some teachers who think they’re always right when in fact they might be ruining our school.

What a lengthy post. Shit I’m not done tidying my room!!!

Wanted to blog about my birthday for so long, but always never got down to doing it :/

Haiz don’t know why but I think my birthday takes foreverrr to come, and when the day finally arrives, there’s like nothing special about it anymore. And at the start of the year, I keep looking forward to Dec, my birthday month, but the hurdles I have to cross before I can reach it. For last year, it was O’s. Haha I did the fast-forwarding for this year already, it’s promos. Plus lots of work to catch up for JC :C

When I was young, my birthday would be complete with a cake (yayy!) and presents from my mom and brothers. How funny, I thought we were not on good terms in the past, but there was once they secretly went to the provision shop downstairs (at our old house) and buy snacks like Wang Wang and that long long sweet that’s 10 cents each, then put them in a ziplock bag. On the ziplock bag they wrote ‘Happy Birthday Ying!’ Haha so cute right.

However, as I grow older, my birthday seems to have lost its significance, like what’s the big deal? Now it’s just a meal with my family, plus going out with friends. Hehe it’s okay, I’m satisfied Oh yeah, I’ve never had a birthday party. I remember my 2nd bro had a mini celebration at his kindergarten, and he packed little snacks into ziplock bags for each of his classmates

This is weird, but I feel that a birthday should be celebrated from the time a person was born, in my case it’s 2.29pm. So every 7 Dec, it’s only memorable from 2.29pm onwards, haha!

Last year’s (What?! So fast) birthday was particularly well spent, hehe will never forget it. Was working then, and during lunch at Liang Court, ALP sprang a surprise! So touched :’) Haha they bought a honey roasted chicken, a box of assorted mini cakes and a packet of truffles for my present! Haha that wasn’t the only surprise. After work, Peiyan, Alison and other work mates actually had a mango strudel for me! Hehe awesome. The card Peiyan made was gorgeous as usual, and she bought the 我可能不会爱你 book from Popular for me! Alison gave a CD with our memories…was so touched!

Not forgetting Jolyn! Haha love the meals we have, and fruit tart at Plaza Sing woohoo! To mark a fresh start, I’m gonna use the wallet she gave me, when JC starts Think it’ll also serve to ‘accompany’ me in a sense, so I won’t be too lonely in CJC…

My mom used to ask me, why do I keep giving my friends birthday presents when very few of them even give me in return? I just told her nvm, 是我的心意. Is that the downside of having a birthday during the hols?

Anyhow, I still look forward to this year’s birthday and counting, cos it’s MY DAY And coincidentally, all my family members’ birthdates have a ’7′ in them! Coollll.

P.S. Going back to dad’s office to help out. Muscles all aching from yesterday’s USS outing, which was fantastic!! Going to Emily’s house to bake with Leiyuen and Serene, after taking neoprints! Yay!

And so, my contract with FEO officially ended last Friday. I miss working there, as well as all the people. But then again, not much time is left before results release. Dad kind of chided me for not extending my contract, but 2 weeks is so not enough. Really, I need time to myself, to wake up late, to watch all the dramas I want, read, meet friends, go shopping, tidy my room…and me being the procrastinator, each day flies past so quickly though I haven’t done much. When can I ever have such time to be free? If I’m going to JC, hell is beckoning. If I’m going to poly, maybe I’ll just continue working at FEO till school starts in April. Now, I just wanna play before I “die”, so please let me have my way.

Hmm, what’s in for this week? Today had lunch with Qiyun, Burton and Delson and as usual they were hilarious. Tomorrow, Germ, Jiayi, Kelline and Audris will be coming up to my house to make smoothies and jelly! Ohhh I better familiarise myself with the blender…Then Friday is dinner with Qiyun, Burton, Delson, Brandon, Alison and Peiyan! Yayy Not sure if I can go out on Saturday, but mom seemed to have relented and let me go for the new year countdown with Jolyn. I’m reallyyy excited cos it’s my first countdown! However, Sunday is my cousin’s big day and I’m supposed to go early with my mom to see all the preparation. Nvm, see how the schedule for the wedding goes first

Ohhh shiattt, I just refused to go to the stadium with dad. Sorryyyy I’m a freaking lazy bum and my complexion is so damn white and unhealthy! Need to tan.

Hehe had quite a long phone call with Emily in the evening, and she told me about her Korea trip! (Yes I still can’t believe I’m not going overseas D: ) and we discussed about Secret Garden. Yeah that’s me, I need a period of time to get over my obsession with dramas. Haiz I feel like watching Secret Garden again. Suffering from withdrawal symptoms…Haha main point is we should be meeting on a Mon two weeks later! Yay

Today was spent with tuition girls, at Orchard. They’re fun to be with and I miss them since my tuition ended! Glad we caught up. Ate at Soup Spoon, then wanted to get a drink and headed to TCC. Waited a while for a table for six, but when we wanted to place orders, the damn waiters/waitresses totally ignored us. Don’t know la, practically felt invisible to them. What the shit, Praise raised her hands so many times but none of them came over la. What the hell is wrong with them?! Were so pissed that we just walked out of the place. Eventually settled on Starbucks in Paragon, and I had mocha frappe was admiring the pretty tumblers too! Yeah so Praise when to meet someone while the rest of us went home. Haha one of the topics we talked about was boys, and that made me desire to have a boyfriend even more. Haiz why are Praise and Cheryl the kind who are popular with guys and can talk easily while I’m…I keep telling myself that I must have guy friends in my clique when I go to JC!

Hmm…rewinding to past events – went for karaoke with mom, Jiarui and Aunty Siew Ken at Scape. Day well spent Oh there was a flea and we bought OPI! Heh, $10 is considered cheap compared to the usual $18! (Just tried shatter last night, though it’s not very nice, I still like it!) We also shopped at 313 and bought dresses! Can’t wait to meet Jiarui again, probably going to her house after my contract ends yay we can experiment with nail polish and makeup!

I know I’m really random, skipping from topic to topic, but last week I went to A&F with Qiyun! Haha awesome hot bods. Took many photos and I’m satisfied. But I wonder, this kind of guys who are hot and well liked by so many girls, will they be like proud or turn into flirts? Guess that’s the downside of being good looking and popular…if a playboy settles down for a girl he loves a lot, that must be the sweetest thing ever!

Oh yeah, yesterday was a good day dinner with work mates! There’s a new temp staff and he’s very friendly and easy to talk to. Sadly, it was Alison and Peiyan’s last day at work!!! Will miss them loads man. If not for them, I’d be so lonely and sad during work. To be honest, I love my job very much. Nice secretaries like Lisa, very cute and hilarious Cassandra, Sabrina and Alicia, the people in the office have taught me things I never thought I would learn/know. In fact, whenever I’m out, I tend to look out for Far East’s projects, like today I saw The Scotts Tower, and the day I delivered X’mas cakes, I saw Hillier ^^ Aww too bad on Fri I didn’t go to Hillier, or else I could have seen him. Most memorable time was on Thurs, when most of the temp staff had OT. The experience was amazing, cos we kinda had the whole office to ourselves, and though we were busy, Shawn the joker had us laughing so much that I forgot we were still working into the night. The secretaries were so sweet to order pizza hut for us, and we had a whale of a time in the pantry! Seriously, I’ve even grown attached to the pantry by now. It has almost all kinds of food – biscuits, cup noodles, instant soup, cereal, energy bars…plus a juicer and coffee machine! It has somewhat become a place for me to seek solace. My last day of work is nearing, but I’ll make the best out of the remaining 5 days!

On a side note, I wanna learn singing and playing the guitar! Been singing to the songs of dramas and hehe mom said she likes my voice but really, I have a great urge to sing professionally. Maybe I’ll take up a course at the CC. And I wanna learn to play the guitar! So damn envious of those who can sing while playing guitar.

Alright, gonna turn in soon! But not before watching some videos. Wa I’m like so swaku, don’t know who Aaron Tan, Steven Lim and that whatever Adeline are, so I’m gonna find out. Shit, haven’t read today’s newspapers! Plus I need to pack my books and notes for Cheryl.

Hehe feel like I suddenly have tasks to complete at work! Lisa and Shaun are so accomodating and caring, Lisa especially. Yess I still anticipate work. And I also look forward to the end of work cos that means going home to watch dramas! I’M HOOKED ON SECRET GARDEN. Hyun Bin <3 Oh my gosh I say "Why is he so handsome" umpteen times when I watch it on funshion (HD somemore leh!!) and smile to myself and the com like an idiot. See, that's what dramas do to you. Or me, at least. Grey matter degeneration, indeed. Not forgetting Taiwan dramas! Still can't get over the fact that there's only 1 episode left for In Time With You. Need to catch up on Office Girls! Couldn't watch episode 15 cos of some stupid problem, and episode 16 is out.

HOWHOWHOW I hate myself for not being disciplined in borrowing books. So many books I wanna read but haven't gotten around borrowing or reserving them. See la, slack also wanna procrastinate -_-

I desperately want ALP outing! Sadly, outing with mom, Jiarui and Aunty Siew Ken last Sunday was cancelled cos I was sick. Hope to be able to meet the girls from tuition too! Plus with Jolyn, Jiayi and Emily! Oh yeah primary school reunion!

Hope I'll be watching Twilight with work mates tomorrow Won't mind horror movies too…

Btw just now I was fiddling with my camera and I found out more about its awesomeness! There's a jump shot feature whereby the front LCD counts down and signals you to jump. It takes 2 consecutive shots, and the second one definitely nails the jump shot! Haha gonna take with my friends soon However, I still don't know why most of my photos are blur, tsk.

After work I just nua at home, like so cui, haiz I haven’t even read the books or watched the dramas and movies I’ve listed in my pretty diary. What about USS, what about Titanic exhibition, what about primary school friends’ meetup, what about Zheng II outing? And I’m so so so so so so sad that I most likely won’t be going overseas :’( not even a cruise, a short getaway. Ugh.

For now, I’ll work hard and be contented with the few dramas I’m watching! Oh there’s a nice lady in office who was from XMS, cool! She’s nice, haha Peiyan stalked her on FB.

Okay better read my Seventeen now so I can exchange with Peiyan for Teenage!

Today after meeting Emily to return her her bag and get my mom’s shoes, Jolyn and I went to Orchard! watched 那些年!! Finally. Haha after eating lunch at 313, we walked to Cineleisure to buy tickets (seriously, I hate this stupid NC16 thing okay. And the fact that my birthday takes so bloody long to arrive. The year counts, doesn’t it?!) then headed to Taka and Kino (so many books to read!!) followed by 313 again to buy 贡茶. First time drinking, they had a promotion, 1 for 1! So we each paid $1.25 for milk tea

The movie was sooooo awesome. No words can describe how ecstatic I feel after watching it. Haha. Returned home after that.

AHHHHHHHH I’m starting work tomorrow and I’m nervous! Took a long time to decide what to wear >:( I really appreciate the school uniform now, though it’s like 一成不变, at least I don’t have to fret about whether my dressing is appropriate!! Have to wake up at 7am tomorrow…

I was so shocked when I first knew about Mrs Yeap’s passing on twitter. Everyone is saying RIP, but like what some people say, why do we only know how to express our gratitude when she is gone? To be honest, I didn’t really enjoy her music lessons, but in upper sec, I came to understand her words. She doesn’t remember me, but sometimes I see her at the bus stop. I don’t know, when I saw her alone, waiting for the bus, my heart sank. She is not what she seems, that fierce, strict teacher. I know she is a good teacher. And during O’s, she wished Wenyuan and I all the best with a smile. When she was walking towards us, I already knew she would do that. And I reciprocated, I said thank you with the utmost sincerity, because I was touched, touched by her spirit of a teacher – a teacher who does not only talk to her own students. Every student of Xinmin was her student and she loved them, loved us. Thank you Mrs Yeap, I know I am in no position to say anything, the choir members should be the ones closest to you, but I will never forget you, a great teacher.

Was trying to finish writing the letters but felt lethargic (headache hadn’t disappeared) and slept for around 2h. Felt cold and body was warm, like the sucky feverish feeling, so I slept more but also became more groggy. Then dad returned home and forced me to go to the stadium for a walk. Sigh that’s how inactive I am, been hibernating since the start of this year. Lazy me always finds excuses to not exercise, homework, mid years, prelims then O’s. Oops but better now than never!

Okay the main point is at the stadium, I saw a handsome guy doing sit ups at the fitness corner and I told my mom, but she didn’t see him clearly. Later on there was this guy jogging with a girl, and I thought it might be him. Cos he and the girl were jogging, they were always ahead of us so we couldn’t see his face. Mom suddenly suggested walking backwards and I felt it was weird, though not wrong, but we would be facing everyone, like they were jogging/walking towards us. Then we stopped near the start/finish line and waited for the guy to run past. We finally saw his face! He isn’t the “sit ups” guy but quite good looking too too bad, seems like he has a girlfriend. Mom thinks he’s quite suave too

Moral of the story: I should be more motivated to exercise at the stadium. Haha! That’s what dad says too. oh another thing, there was a toned and tanned guy sitting at the grandstand like a statue, as if wanting everyone to admire his six pack -_-

OKAY NOW LET ME TELL YOU MY WONDERFUL ADVENTURE AT FAR EAST PLAZA YESTERDAY. I was really pekcek cos I had not found my prom dress, so was thinking of buying from Far East after signing the contract. But in the morning, Jean told me there were some changes and the time to sign contract was changed; she would call me again to tell me when t go down. I was kinda emo-ing at home while waiting for her call, so I watched In Time With You and I cried cos one part was really sooooo touching. That made me feel worse anyway, In Time With You is by far the best Taiwan drama I’ve watched, cos it is just so damn realistic and the friendship between Cheng You Qing and Li Da Ren is simply captivating and makes me wanna have such a male best friend. Seriously, imagine a male friend who knows and treats you better than your boyfriend, wouldn’t you fall in love with him?! Plus the cast and crew are very close, and this gives rise to such an amazing production. (Shit I sidetracked)

Yeah, so I travelled to Far East alone, mom said she would join me after lunch, she took half day off. I combed the entire 3rd and 4th floor till I almost vomited. Seriously, I walked past the rows of shops so freakingggg many times and even ventured into those in the far ends and corners. Noted a few shops which had pretty dresses and continued walking and walking. I didn’t want to go into the shops and check out their collections cos I hate the shop assistants/owners staring at me, and I don’t have the guts to walk out just like that. In the end I was really damn bored (even stayed in the toilet for a while) that I decided to be gutsy and see what the stores had, to save time, so that when mom came, we could just zoom in on a few shops. FINALLY, one of the shops I had in mind provided me with what I had been looking for. Tried dresses in other shops but didn’t go well, was really sick and tired so I made up my mind on that particular shop, albeit a little ex. But I’m damn happy, bought dresses cos mom felt I looked good in another dress too (which I also like, but not more than what I chose) so maybe I can wear the other one for my cousin’s wedding

Next we looked for wedges and clutch. None of the heels/wedges were to my liking, so I’ll be wearing the pair I bought at Nex the other time with mom Oh but I bought a pair of casual shoes for $9.90, YAYYYY!! Walked down to Tangs but didn’t find a suitable clutch…worst case scenario, I’ll use Aunty Siew Ken’s. Bt guess what? When I reached home last night and flipped through Seventeen, I saw a lovely clutch and where is it from? FAR EAST. Ugh doubt I’m returning there. Overall I’m still very happy hehehe.

Last night I tried nail marbling from the DIY section in Seventeen, but it was a failure cos only ONE of my nail varnishes can speed instantly in water :/ so there’s no point, I wanted to see the effect of various colours. I experimented with my left hand’s nails – pink as base then black polka dots alternate with black hearts. But my mom doesn’t like it, oh well, I think it’s a good effort haha. Think I’ll change to a simpler design for prom. Heheh I’m not revealing my prom dress here though of course, as usual I excitedly took photos with the dresses yesterday

Btw I’m signing contract on Mon! Working from 28 Nov to 24 Dec, at Yellow Pages building which is near my house ^^ at first was at Teck Ghee CC in AMK. Can’t wait to start work, everyone is like working now. But that means it’ll be difficult to go out! Needless to say, I’m not going overseas and dad’s moving office so he’ll be very busy.

List of things I HAVE TO do:

-Finish clearing the stack of newspapers in my room (sigh, I’m becoming like dad, but his STACKS of newspapers are in the living room)
-Sort out the clothes I don’t want
-Sort out the soft toys I don’t want
-Pack my study table and drawers
-Sort out the books I don’t want
-*URGENT* finish writing letters

Haiz looks like I won’t have time to watch ALL the dramas and movies I’ve listed down in my diary :C
